How this spirit tastes
The Distilleria Berta is located in Monferrato, a picturesque, hilly landscape in northern Piedmont. The distillery was founded in 1947 by Paolo Berta. The Berta family had already been active as winegrowers here for a long time before that. In 2002, the distillery was largely renovated, modernised and extended with a generous addition for the cask cellar and steel tanks. Today, Berta is one of Italy's leading grappa producers, now run by Paolo's son Enrico. Around 400,000 bottles of grappa are produced each year at the highest quality level. We look back on a wonderful, long-standing and friendly collaboration with Berta. As the greatest proof of trust, they granted us the right to represent their grappas in Switzerland as general importer.
