How this wine tastes
Fine as a silk scarf – an absolute top wine! Incredibly refined and elegant, but no lightweight. Very high ageing potential, this Malbec has not yet reached its peak.
The vineyards lie at an altitude of almost 1000 m above sea level. Extreme weather conditions define this area: very cold winters, hot summers and a temperature difference of often more than 20°C between day and night. These conditions are optimal for the Malbec grapes.
01/Colour
Dense cherry red with purple reflections.
02/Nose
Intense aromas of red and black fruits such as blackberries, blueberries and plums, along with a spicy note of black pepper. Subtle roasted aromas from ageing in barriques.
03/Palate
On the palate, plenty of concentrated fruit, elegance, density, balance and firm tannins.
