How this wine tastes
In the Valais, Cornalin is considered a gem of Valais heritage and can boast of being one of the oldest grape varieties grown in the Valais. It is used to produce the dark and spicy red wine «Vieux Rouge du Pays» or «Alter Landroter». The Cornalin vine sparks enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. It yields fruity wines with a fine nose and a strong dark red colour with violet hues. Due to their slightly rustic character, they are ideal companions to game dishes.
Although the wine appears somewhat boisterous in its youth, it develops incredible finesse with age
