In the southeast of Spain, Karel and Pablo create modern, full-bodied and first-class wines with passion and dedication. The young dynamic couple brings wine and art – Vino y Arte – together in a sophisticated combination. While Karel designs the hip and provocative labels, Pablo lives his passion for the art of winemaking body and soul. He cultivates 20 hectares of vineyard, predominantly planted with Monastrell. Monastrell – not the winemaker's best friend – but Pablo masters the challenge with flair and attention to detail, producing wines with finesse, warmth, depth and modernity. While tasting a new wine, Karel enthused that this wine was to die for – and so the name of the wine was found – DEMUERTE. The two are freaks and extremely down-to-earth at the same time.
