01/Nose
A complex, youthful opening. Aromas of ripe cherries, wild blackberries, blue plums, crème de cassis and dried figs. Accompanied by liquorice, oriental tobacco, subtle toasty aromas and black pepper. Light hints of vanilla with notes of tobacco and cedarwood. Comes across as very harmonious and refined.
02/Palate
On the palate, fruity notes of blue plums, black cherries, blackberries, cassis and liquorice. Beautifully integrated barrique, good acidity and ripe, firm tannins. The Eneo finishes powerfully with lasting length and a spicy, mineral finish. A fantastic Tuscan red wine that deserves a few more years of bottle ageing.
