How this spirit tastes
The Ferdinand's Saar Dry Gin is produced at Weingut Zilliken, which is located in the border triangle of Germany, France and Luxembourg. Only hand-picked Riesling grapes are used for the wine fusion in the gin. Master Distiller Andreas Vallendar additionally flavours the gin with over 30 carefully matched botanicals such as rose petals, thyme, lavender and blackthorn from the vineyards and from his own cultivation. It gets its name from Ferdinand Geltz, forester to the Prussian royal house, who used to unite the winegrowers of the Mosel-Saar region.
