How this wine tastes
The expansive estate lies between the towns of Pesquera and Valbuena de Duero, in a region prized for its quality wines. Since 1990, head oenologist Peter Sisseck, together with his right-hand man, cellar master Carlos de la Fuente, has defined the style of the Monasterio wines. Together they have created cuvées with a full-fruited and remarkably mineral character, which, with their elegant yet intense bouquet, clearly stand out from other Ribera wines.

Dark ruby red.
02/Nose
Fine black berries and exotic spices on the nose, floral notes and beautifully integrated oak.
03/Palate
Fresh and juicy on the palate. A crisp acidity and perfectly integrated tannin are nicely balanced by the ripe fruit.
