How this wine tastes
The Heida Brut AOC Valais Bec de Fin Bec stems from owner Yvo Mathier's idea of producing sparkling wines with indigenous grape varieties. Heida, or Païen (French-speaking Switzerland), are both synonyms for Sauvignon Blanc. Heida is one of the best-known grape varieties in Visperterminen, in Upper Valais. The grapes come from Sion, from a plot in Châtre directly next to the Cave Fin Bec cellar. This sparkling wine has intense, complex and typical notes.
