How this wine tastes
Under the banner of the white dove Colomba Bianca, over 2,000 winegrowers joined forces in 1970 in southwestern Sicily. The cooperative cultivates around 8,100 hectares of vineyards between the provinces of Trapani, Palermo and Agrigento, and the harvest is processed in five modern wineries.
01/Colour
Intense cherry red with striking violet highlights.
02/Nose
Pure and dark-berried, spicy aromas, cloves, intense vanilla scent, toasty, fine wood, caramel and liquorice, dried plums and forest floor.
03/Palate
A persistent, long start, pronounced acidity, marked tannins, aromatic on the palate, sweet fruitiness that lingers.
