In 1440, Höngg vines belonging to the Zweifel family were first documented. Alongside the Zurich city sites Klingen and Riedhof, excellent grapes are brought to Höngg from the family's own vineyards in Regensberg, Otelfingen, Stäfa and Remigen AG, as well as from friendly regional winegrowers, every autumn, where city winemaker Urs Zweifel presses them using the latest know-how and state-of-the-art technology, earning a place among the 100 best Swiss winemakers (Vinum).
