How this wine tastes
The company was founded for the import of port wine and sherry in 1790 by the Scotsman George Sandeman in London, which was then as now the leading centre for the wine trade. Just a few years later, Sandeman himself expanded onto the Iberian Peninsula and invested in facilities in Vila Nova de Gaia and Cádiz.
