Schafiser Chasselas AOC - Rebgut der Stadt Bern

With 20 hectares of vineyard, the Rebgut of the City of Bern is the largest domaine on Lake Biel. 12 hectares are planted with Chasselas, 7 hectares with Pinot Noir. On one hectare, Mr Louis, the manager, experiments with specialities. The sunny vineyard slopes on Lake Biel, the lime-rich soil, near-natural cultivation and the favourable climate are the prerequisites for this excellent Gutedel. A yield limitation of 1kg/m2 in the vineyards and state-of-the-art vinification methods guarantee the quality of this natural, lively and fruity wine.
