On a trip to Japan in 2010, José Luis Gómez and Laura Muñoz decided to dedicate their lives to their shared great passion for wine. That was the starting signal for Casa Rojo. Together with a colourful team of young, dynamic winemakers, sommeliers and designers, they are committed to great wines that perfectly reflect the terroir of Spain's various wine regions. For almost two years, Casa Rojo has been able to count on the support of one of the world's most renowned oenologists, Patrick Meraz (Château Haut Brion). The young team succeeds in creating eleven outstanding wines from nine Spanish wine regions and giving them fittingly cheeky labels. In an industry usually dominated by large and powerful producers, Casa Rojo, based in Jumilla, stands against this with an innovative, truly groundbreaking vision, proving to the world that traditions don't have to be dusty and heavy.
