How this wine tastes
The Antonio Castagnedi selection is the outstanding result of an oenological strategy chosen by the Castagnedi family to interpret the most famous and typical wine of Valpolicella in an innovative and "flexible" way. This Amarone selection is created from the best, individually selected Corvina, Rondinella and Croatina grapes, sourced from two vineyards located in different areas of the estate.
01/Colour
Bright ruby red with garnet-coloured reflections.
02/Nose
Scents of red ripe fruit, highly appreciated for their murmuring and captivating approach, accompanied by spicy liquorice aromas, black pepper and a hint of chocolate.
03/Palate
A wine with a harmonious body, dry and subtle. It waits impatiently for the moment to express itself, and is immediately ready to fill the glasses. Its scent develops promptly and penetrates. The tannins are rounded and sweet; it is well structured and captivates with its mildness and its content of ripe acidity.
