Château Cap Faugères is not the second wine of Château Faugères, but an independent estate with its own cellar. The vines of Cap Faugères border directly on the prestigious Saint-Émilion appellation, the terroirs are absolutely comparable, but Cap lies in Castillon. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive on calcareous soils, which is one of the reasons for the unique freshness of Cap Faugères' wines. The wines of Cap Faugères already offer a great deal of drinking pleasure in their youth, at a nota bene very fair price.

On the nose, fine nuances of sweet, fresh cherries, plums, nougat and spices.
