How this spirit tastes
The distillery, founded in 1825 under the name 'Milton' in the Lowlands region of Scotland, was later renamed to its current name in 1837. It now belongs to the spirits group Diageo and is one of the few distilleries from this region. Due to its proximity to Scotland's capital, it is also often referred to as 'Edinburgh Malt'.
01/Nose
Very aromatic with vanilla, malt and cut flowers on the nose.
02/Palate
On the palate sweet and creamy lemon cake, butterscotch and freesias. In the background a trace of heather. The aftertaste is soft and fresh, reminiscent of a potpourri of flowers and fruits.
