How this wine tastes
The Gota is the little brother of the Balin and offers full-bodied Merlot enjoyment, a silky flow on the palate with fine tannin, aromas of ripe plums with spicy accents, and it ends round and very long. It even outdoes its big brother in one respect: thanks to partial ageing in steel tanks, it is equipped with a good measure of freshness. This makes it an exceptional representative of southern Ticino, where the wines tend to lean towards cosy fullness.
