Kraken Black Spiced Rum

The Kraken is named after the sea monster known from mythology and seafaring legends, said to have intercepted and sunk a ship laden with rum casks between the Caribbean and Europe. In its honour, this rum, distilled from sugarcane molasses in Trinidad and Tobago and enriched with thirteen secret spices, was named. It is bottled after ageing for one to two years in casks. The bottle itself is an eye-catcher, modelled on the old Victorian rum bottles that were once hung by their handles on sailing ships so they would not break in rough seas. It is adorned—naturally—with a kraken!
