How this wine tastes
The Mas Janeil blanc is made from grapes of the estate's oldest vines, forgotten for a long time. The plot is called La Traou de l'Ouille. As the name suggests, the vines stand in a furrow, close to a stream. The soils are extremely calcareous and mineral, which is very clearly reflected in the wine. A wine of great class.
01/Colour
Slightly dark yellow, brilliant colour.
02/Nose
Very complex on the nose. Accompanied by light toasted notes, fresh fruit aromas combine with floral notes.
03/Palate
On the palate, this white wine is very round and vanilla-toned, with a lovely balance of acidity and freshness. The finish is very long-lasting and elegant, with nutty-vanilla notes.
