01/Tasting

How this wine tastes

The estate is located in the village of Tautavel at the foot of the Pyrenees. Due to the extreme sites, the Domaine can only produce small quantities, but the qualities are unique. Yields are limited to just 25hl/ha. François Lurton and his business partner Michel Rolland, probably the best-known winemaker from Bordeaux, explain that this site is capable of yielding unique discoveries. At the moment prices are still affordable, but this will change quickly.

01/Colour

Elegantly reflective, dark yellow colour.

02/Nose

Intense on the nose, with aromas of fresh Mediterranean fruits merging with notes of white flowers.

03/Palate

On the palate, the wine is round with very subtle liquorice aromas. It shines with a perfect balance between acidity and power. It is typically Catalan, Mediterranean. The finish lingers beautifully, again presenting both fruity and floral aromas.
