How this wine tastes
The Domaine du Mont d'Or was founded in 1848 by François-Eugène Masson and is the oldest vineyard in the Valais. It covers an area of 24 hectares and comprises 220 terraces supported by dry stone walls, testifying to age-old know-how. In the 1870s, his son Georges Masson introduced Sylvaner to the Valais, giving rise to the famous Johannisberg Mont d'Or.
