Bodegas Protos is the traditional winery of the Ribera del Duero. It was not only decisively involved in the naming of the region "Ribera del Duero", but also the first winery in the region. Today there is an exquisite selection of different wines. What is impressive about Bodegas Protos is the very high and consistent quality with which wine has been produced for more than eighty years – and the quality today is as good as ever. From the Tempranillo grape, which is called "Tinta del Pais" in the Ribera del Duero region, the winery creates a wide variety of wines in terms of taste. The Protos Reserva, a pure varietal Tempranillo (Tinta del Pais), impresses with power and elegance.
