How this wine tastes
Bodegas Volver is a joint project by Jorge Ordóñez and winemaker Rafael Cañizarez. Bodegas Volver has vineyards in three regions of the country: La Mancha, Alicante and Jumilla. The word Triga is an old Latin term for a team of three horses, just as a quadriga refers to a team of four horses. Today the term Triga refers to the three mountain ranges of fossil limestone that surround the vineyards and influence the character of this wine.
01/Nose
The aroma shows a combination of black fruits and Mediterranean herbs with well-integrated oak, fine harmony and elegance.
02/Palate
On the palate the Triga is full-bodied with noble tannin, pleasant freshness and power. A powerful wine with good mineral notes.
