How this wine tastes
The winery owns over seven hectares of vineyards on hillside sites around the municipality of Valtuille, between 400 and 600 metres above sea level. This autochthonous grape variety is found only in Bierzo and is suspected to be descended from Cabernet Franc. 50,000 bottles produced annually.
01/Colour
Intense cherry red with violet reflections.
02/Nose
Fruity with aromas of black cherries, blackberries, redcurrants and a hint of graphite.
03/Palate
On the palate it shows juicy elegance, with fine acidity and a spicy tannin structure, superbly accompanied by an unceasing cherry aromatics. The finish is intensely mineral.
