Bodegas Resalte de Peñafiel was founded in 2000 to produce wines of the highest quality, and within a short time became the benchmark for top-class wines from Ribera del Duero. The fusion of tradition and modernity succeeded so well that the aromatic, elegant wines soon received numerous awards.
Best Spanish wine of the year
Just ten years after the estate's founding, the renowned wine magazine «Wine Spectator» named Origen de Resalte (then Crianza) the best Spanish wine of 2010, confirming the house's uncompromising commitment to quality.
Gentle handling through gravity
All of Resalte's red wines are made from 100 percent of the native grape variety Tempranillo. In the cellar, grapes and wine are moved without mechanical pumping: gravity does the work, which is infinitely gentler.
80 hectares, many personalities
«Every vineyard has its own personality»: the varying altitudes and orientations of the 80-hectare vineyards contribute significantly to the flavour complexity of the grapes.
