How this wine tastes
Galotta is a red wine variety from Switzerland. It is a new breed from 1981 developed by the Swiss Federal Research Station for Plant Production Agroscope RAC Changins in Changins and Pully. It is a crossing of the red varieties Gamay and Ancellotta. From 1995 onwards, larger-scale field trials were carried out in vineyards in the Valais, Vaud and Ticino.
