How this wine tastes
The Syrah grapes ripen through a special process, DMR (doppia maturazione ragionata). The grapes ripen directly on the vine and, once the ideal degree of full ripeness is reached, the grape stems are crushed, interrupting the sap flow. This causes the grapes to dry on the vine, losing around 20% of their weight over 20 days. Only then are the grapes harvested.
01/Nose
Very approachable, Amarone-like aromatics, notes of ripe plums and black berry fruit, light spice, very finely nuanced barrique.
02/Palate
On the palate very soft and round, balsamic notes, practically caresses the palate, plenty of cherry fruit and the finest vanilla notes. A true palate pleaser!
