How this wine tastes
Concejon is a mutation of the Tempranillo grape. On a 3.14-hectare vineyard, the native grape variety is grown with vines over 80 years old. (Hence also the reference to the number Pi)
Vineyard work is carried out organically. Hand harvesting and fermentation with natural yeasts in concrete, state of the art so to speak. Ageing for 12 months in French barriques, the wood influence is thankfully very moderate in the result thanks to the racy acidity and tannin. Then 6 months of blending in steel and a further 12 months in bottle before it goes on sale. Ready to drink and delicious!

Black-ruby red with blue reflections
02/Nose
Blueberry fruit dominates this new discovery. Black and red cherry and clear red forest berries join in, a hint of strawberry. Then also some blackberry and cassis, fine herbal spice underneath and a hint of milk chocolate.
03/Palate
Very clear, very straightforward and unfussy, never fat or clumsy but always showing juicy and harmonious, light bitter notes in the finish lend a pleasant freshness.
