Dos Maderas Rum Pedro Ximénez 5+5

This unusual rum comes from the Spanish brandy and sherry house Williams & Hunter, and the name, which means two woods in English - is fitting. Two rums distilled in Guyana and Barbados spend the first five years of their maturation in their home regions. They then come to Jerez, where they mature further together in two different types of sherry cask, including two years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. The result is an intense sweetness, but in a breathtaking direction.
