Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin Ceramic Edition

This gin was not named - as one might initially think - after gunpowder itself, but after the green tea variety of the same name. This forms the basis for Gunpowder Gin. The Chinese tea, in turn, gets its name from the fact that its leaves are rolled into small pellets, which preserves its quality for many years. Eleven further botanicals join the Gunpowder Tea, namely: juniper, orris root, angelica root, caraway and coriander seeds, meadowsweet, cardamom, star anise, grapefruit, kaffir lime and lemon. These flavour providers are either co-distilled or infused via steam. The place where this happens is called Shed Distillery and is located in the Irish town of Drumshanbo, a small settlement with just 1000 inhabitants.
