Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Farnese

The Edizione Cinque Autoctoni is an unfiltered wine made from 5 typical southern Italian grape varieties: Montepulciano, Primitivo, Sangiovese, Negroamaro and red Malvasia. This wine embodies an entirely new generation of southern Italian wines. Very opulent, but quite different from Bordeaux, Spain or northern Italy, wood notes play virtually no role. The tannins are moderate and very finely polished. Here, rich, fleshy fruit is the order of the day, almost as if walking through an orchard and picking only the most beautiful and aromatic fruits. An intense yet beguilingly soft wine, both on the nose and on the palate. In this respect, the association with a good port wine is certainly not far-fetched.
