Based on the GIN 27 ORIGINAL, the team at Appenzeller Alpenbitter AG has created an innovative further development: GIN 27 SOUL OF WOOD. The idea was to create a fruity gin from local ingredients. For the GIN 27 SOUL OF WOOD, the GIN 27 ORIGINAL is combined with an ingredient typical of the Appenzell region: hand-picked fir shoots from the company's own forest. Together with elderberry, they give it a special, fruity note.
The GIN 27 SOUL OF WOOD is soft and fruity on the palate with a hint of pepperiness. The pure taste of the forest is united in this fine spirit with the care and dedication of the Appenzell master distillers.
