01/Colour
Dark, purple-red robe.
02/Nose
Dense, black, ripe fruit streams from the glass. A graceful opulence without any over-ripe notes. Cherry, blackberry, cassis. Behind that, delicate floral scents with very fine violet notes. On a second sniff, the «La Torre» shows its spiciness with some clove and light smoke/tobacco notes.
03/Palate
What a wonderfully juicy opening. Wonderfully ripe black cherry, with blackberries and a touch of cassis. The «La Torre» has a dense body, with a great structure and freshness thanks to the present acidity. The finish reveals lovely herbal notes reflecting the Syrah share. Delicate peppery components join in as well. The wine is astonishingly complex, full-bodied, smooth and multi-layered – guaranteeing a great factor of fun and enjoyment.
