Mount Gay 1703 Master Select, Release 2020 is the 11th edition of Mount Gay's annually released Limited Edition and the second edition by Master Blender Trudiann Branker. The name «1703» refers to Mount Gay's founding date and is testament to the expertise Mount Gay has gathered over more than 300 years. This rare and refined rum is limited to 3,426 bottles worldwide and is among Mount Gay's most sought-after editions. While the quality and general character remain consistent over the years, the nose and palate vary from year to year, so that each edition, year after year, bears the distinct signature of the respective Master Blender. 1703 Master Select is a blend of rums distilled in two copper pot stills and one column still, then aged in oak casks for 10 to 30 years. Due to the scarcity of both the oldest rum reserves and the casks, and our wish to extend the availability of 1703 Master Select for years to come, this exclusive edition is released only once a year.
