How this wine tastes
The grapes for this wine ripen on 85-year-old vines in the Nobbio vineyard. This is considered one of the noblest sites in the entire Barbera d'Asti zone. The steep slope and south-east orientation capture the sunlight almost perfectly, allowing the grapes to reach high ripeness. The soil consists of calcareous marl with a high proportion of silt. The entire vinification process takes place in stainless steel tanks, with the must repeatedly pumped over the cap. This allows a maximum extraction of colour and aroma compounds. Finally, the young wine matures for a few months in the bottle before being released.

Powerful ruby garnet with violet reflections
02/Nose
On the nose, fruity and floral notes delight, reminiscent of plum, blueberry, ripe morello cherry, elderberry and blackberry jam, accompanied by a hint of vanilla and gentle tobacco notes.
03/Palate
Juicy tannins, fine acid structure, aromatic fruit extract and balsamic textural power combine with a full body, ending in a long-lasting finish.
