How this wine tastes
This wine is based on the best quality, carefully selected grapes from the La Cricca vineyard. The vines are on average 50 years old and grow on a south-facing slope at 260 metres above sea level, in soils characterised by limestone-rich marl mixed with sand. The wine undergoes a maceration period of 20 to 25 days, during which the must is repeatedly pumped over the cap. This allows for a high extraction of colour and aromatic substances. Finally, the young wine matures for at least 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels, giving it spicy aromas and harmony.

Intense start on the palate, fruit components paired with spiciness - berry meets chocolate. Envelops the palate and barely lets go.
