Legio Vallis brings all these elements together. Inspired by the Romans, who thought far beyond their borders and were stationed in the Valais with the Legion XII Fulminata (Legio Vallis), Vins et Vignobles Julius has planted unconventional grape varieties for the Valais. The winery's vision is to create novel wines with these varieties in combination with other grape varieties. In doing so, traditional and modern vinification methods are combined. The courage to be extraordinary was rewarded with the first wine, the Fulminata. A powerful yet elegant appassimento, inspired by the famous Amarone. With the Merlot-Primitivo, Chasselas-Heida-Arneis and Pinot Noir-Lagrein, wonderful and easy-drinking everyday wines with international character have been created. Wines for every occasion!
