How this wine tastes
Bitterly cold winters and scorching hot summers define Castile. The recurring drought forces the old vines to drive their roots deep into the barren soil. Out of passion for these old vine monuments, Master of Wine Andreas Kubach, together with oenologist Matthias Tobler, created Profundo. They combined these dense, dark, substantial wines into a true work of art.

Dense ruby red with a violet-black core
02/Nose
Intense, ripe-fruity bouquet of strawberries, spicy-toasty notes with a touch of liquorice and vanilla, delicate smoky notes from ageing.
03/Palate
A long opening, a firm, present palate, charming fruit sweetness, with a long and very harmonious aftertaste.
