How this spirit tastes
While in the past the entire production matured in sherry casks, Macallan too had to pay tribute to the scarcity of good sherry casks and diversify its range. Today, Macallans matured purely in sherry casks are increasingly rare.
01/Colour
Clear gold.
02/Nose
On the nose sherry and honey as well as vanilla notes, plus floral and spicy notes.
03/Palate
Smooth, medium-bodied on the palate with fruits, oak and spices. Long finish with nuances of dried fruits.
