How this spirit tastes
Macallan has always been one of the most popular and sought-after single malts from Scotland. Founded in 1824 in Speyside, the distillery was one of the first legal distilleries and today belongs to the Edrington Group. Between 2012 and 2017, thanks to great effort, the production facilities and warehouses were expanded to ensure that single malt with age statements can continue to be bottled in the future. Macallan is often referred to as the 'Rolls Royce' of whiskies.
01/Nose
On the nose melon and lemon peel mingled with the scent of vanilla.
02/Palate
On the palate the aromas are reflected, joined by lightly toasted oak and nutmeg. Long and fruity aftertaste of melon, papaya and fresh oak.
