Weinberghof Fritsch
Biodynamic pioneer in the Wagram, with the rare Roter Veltliner.
Get to know Weinberghof Fritsch
Weinberghof Fritsch from Austria's Wagram stands for uncompromising quality, lived sustainability and wines with genuine provenance. Since 2006, the multi-award-winning family estate has worked consistently biodynamically, not as a trend, but out of conviction. From around 25 hectares of vineyards, Karl Fritsch crafts a small selection of outstanding, regionally typical single-vineyard wines.
Accompanying rather than making
At the centre is a respectful approach to the environment: living soils, natural cycles and minimal intervention in the cellar. The goal is clear: characterful wines that are not made, but accompanied. In harmony with nature, wines emerge that unfalsifyingly reflect soil, climate and grape variety.
The Roter Veltliner: a true rarity
A special role is played by the Roter Veltliner, a rare, indigenous grape variety found almost exclusively in this region. Long underestimated, it reveals its full potential in the Wagram with its deep loess soils: powerful, mineral and at the same time elegant, with impressive depth and individuality.
Authentic personalities in the glass
Those who discover Fritsch wines do not encounter interchangeable drops, but authentic personalities in the glass, shaped by biodynamics, provenance and a clear signature. For all who want not just to drink wine, but to understand it.
