Get to know Weingut Seewer

The familiar Leukersonne wines will only be available as Weingut Seewer from the 2024 vintage onwards. With passion, dedication and tireless commitment, the Leukersonne brand, founded in 1976 by Marcella and René Seewer, has been developed further with respect and turned into a renowned name for first-class Valais wines.

New chapter, same signature

From the 2024 vintage, the estate and its wines carry a new name: Weingut Seewer. The DNA, the values and the unmistakable signature remain unchanged: the same quality, the same passion, the same range. Familiar wines now have new names: Apéro becomes Cuvée N°1, Fine Goutte becomes Finesse, Marciel becomes Marcella, Solis Rouge becomes Terra Forte, Hommage becomes Momentum, and Leuca Fortis becomes Leuca Forte.

Vineyards between Leuk and Saillon

The Weingut Seewer tends around 30 hectares of its own vineyards in the Valais, between Leuk and Saillon. In addition, strictly selected grapes from renowned winemakers in the Valais are processed. The family vouches for this with its good name, with exquisite wines, excellent service and exclusive experiences.

The estate in Susten

The estate is run by Damian and Fabienne Seewer: he is responsible for the cellar and vinification, she for brand management and development. In Susten stands an estate that can be visited, with a vinothèque, a vaulted barrique cellar and a long table for tastings. On the façade is written what the trade has confirmed twice in a row: Weingut des Jahres 2023 and 2024.
