How this wine tastes
The success story of Bodegas Aalto began in 1999 when Javier Zaccagnini joined forces with none other than star oenologist Mariano García. He had previously been responsible for winemaking at Vega Sicilia for 30 years and also successfully ran Bodegas Mauro on the side. Within a very short time, the project achieved worldwide fame and has since been a fixed star in the Ribera del Duero firmament. For the top wine Aalto PS, only grapes from the best sites under cultivation are selected. A modern classic that has become indispensable to the Spanish wine world.
01/Colour
Dense violet.
02/Nose
Powerful wood notes on the nose, underscored by black cherry, plums and spices.
03/Palate
On the palate, we get a concentrated, voluminous and dense drinking pleasure with a long-lasting and persistent finish. Already quite well-balanced, but certainly needs a few more years of rest before it can reach its peak form.
