How this wine tastes
Due to the small proportion of Garnacha, the Flor de Pingus is always somewhat lighter and more red-fruited than its bigger brother. Peter Sisseck describes it as lighter, yet he places just as much value on the tannins. In the Flor de Pingus, these are a little more generous and less taut than in the Pingus. The grapes come from vines aged approximately 25-50 years.
