Eméritus Dominio de Valdepusa

Malpica, located near Toledo, is home to Marqués de Griñón. This legend of Spanish viticulture began back in the 1970s with the cultivation of French grape varieties, which was still illegal in Spain at the time. Years, indeed decades, of tireless work brought not only enormous acceptance among wine lovers, but also a great deal of attention from the international wine press. But the Spanish state, too, finally gave the Count the status he deserved after a long time. Since 2003, his estate has had its own D.O. Dominio de Valdepusa and thus belongs to the rare Vinos de Pago, which currently lead the top of the quality pyramid in Spain. His wines combine centuries-old tradition with the insights of modern viticulture. Above all, the almost proverbial reliability distinguishes the wines of Marqués de Griñón.
