How this spirit tastes
Whisky was already being produced at the distillery 200 years ago, although initially illegally due to high taxes. In 1833 the distillery was then legalised under the name Burnfoot of Dumgoyne. It was not renamed Glengoyne until the early 20th century. Today the distillery is still one of only very few remaining in independent, Scottish family ownership. In producing their whiskies, Glengoyne relies on patience: the barley is first air-dried before being slowly distilled.

Aromas of fresh apples, vanilla and buttery pastry.
03/Palate
On the palate spicy notes of honey, sherry and ginger. Long-lasting finish with a spicy farewell.
