How this spirit tastes
Glengoyne means valley of the wild geese. Founded in 1933, the distillery is the southernmost in the Highlands and one of the most beautiful in Scotland. It uses only unpeated malt, and the water from the Campsie Fells never comes into contact with peat. That is why the Single Malt is completely smoke-free, lightly sweet, clean, malty and very elegant.
01/Colour
Amber.
02/Nose
Very fruit-forward on the nose, scent of apple, pear, ripe melons. Plus burnt sugar, nut and fine oak tones. The sherry character has a strong influence on the whisky.
03/Palate
On the palate mild, elegant and harmonious with a medium-length, spicy finish.
