How this spirit tastes
Glengoyne means valley of the wild geese. Founded in 1933, the distillery is the southernmost in the Highlands and one of the most beautiful in Scotland. It uses only unpeated malt, and the water from the Campsie Fells never comes into contact with peat. That is why the Single Malt is completely smoke-free, lightly sweet, clean, malty and very elegant.
01/Nose
Smells of sweet limes, mixed with a touch of popcorn and caramel.
02/Palate
On the palate it shows itself oily and again with sweet lemons. Added to this are notes of walnuts and a hint of cinnamon. In the rather dry finish, subtle oak notes come through.
