The Producer
Château Fuissé, located in the heart of the Mâconnais in southern Burgundy, is an essential estate of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Owned by the Vincent family since 1862, the estate covers about forty hectares, spread across five renowned appellations. The wines of Château Fuissé are characterised by their great delicacy, a blend of roundness, breadth and mineral freshness.
The Vineyard
The Pouilly-Fuissé Village comes mainly from the south-east slope of Mont de Pouilly in Fuissé, on calcareous clay and marl soils. Some plots are located on schist and sandy soils in Chaintré as well as in Solutré-Pouilly. The planting density is 9,000 vines per hectare.
Vinification and Ageing
The Pouilly-Fuissé "Tête de Cuvée" 2023 comes from a manual harvest, followed by pneumatic pressing. After 12 hours of cold settling, fermentation takes place using indigenous yeasts. Ageing takes place 70% in barrels and 30% in tanks, with lees stirring. Malolactic fermentation is carried out as needed.

The nose combines fresh, crisp citrus notes with juicy apples and lemon, complemented by subtle hints of almonds and roasted hazelnuts.
03/Palate
On the palate, it is fresh and approachable, with an impressive fullness and a citrus-driven, ripe fruit that harmonises with nutty nuances.
