How this wine tastes
The grapes are trodden in lagares and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Ageing: 18 months in French and American oak barrels.
01/Nose
The nose is balanced and mature. Well-dosed aromas of wood, redcurrant and wild blackberry. They give the nose its softness, but also its character. In the background wafts a fresh touch – a vegetal note and a nuance of dried herbs.
02/Palate
The same wood-derived smoothness is also present in the body. Beneath this lie grainy tannin and integrated acidity as the basis for the ripe fruit, which forms the connection to the nose. It glides powerfully into the finish, where fruit and roasted bitterness are equal partners. Together they fade out in the lingering aftertaste.
